Maarten van Haaff (Savigny-sur-Orge, France, 1970) studied at the Academy St-Joost, Breda and at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague.

He worked as a photojournalist for NRC-Handelsblad and nrc.next. His work also appeared in numerous other Dutch publications such as de Volkskrant, Het Parool, Vrij Nederland, De Groene Amsterdammer, Het Financieele Dagblad, and in the French newspaper Le Monde.

In 2010 Maarten was awarded the second prize of The Silver Camera in the category Daily News.

Maarten focuses on reportage and portrait photography. He is available for commissions and assignments.
